Sleeping Ladybugs
My college roommate, Kris Orr, is a wonderful photographer and recently sent me these stunning pictures of some sleeping ladybugs. She captured this picture on an early morning walk of some little ladybugs sleeping on some dew covered leaves. They appear to be snuggled together. Are they cold? Are they afraid? Are they scared? I don't think so. You see, God takes care of even the smallest of creatures. After all, he created them all. God provides protection for them a

Fishing!!
Greco has been begging his Dad for a new fishing pole. He has had a Spider-Man one as well as a Transformer one. You know those expensive kid rod and reels that last about 2 days and never, ever catch a fish.
Greco wanted yet another one. So, Troy took Greco to buy a "big boy" rod and reel today. And lo and behold this is what he caught on his first cast!!! A catfish, right out of the pond in our back yard!
He looks so proud of his catch!!! He wants to be a fisherman

I Own Florida State Championship
We attended the I Own Florida State Championship today. It was held at Manatee High School in Bradenton, FL. The coach of the kids wrestling club is Randy Wadle. He puts on a really great tournament!! He was so gracious and kind to recognize Greco to the entire crowd that was in attendance. There was well over 1000 spectators!! Not only did he share our story with the crowd, but he contributed part of the proceeds from the tournament to our medical bills. We have only had the

A Short Trip to Wyoming
Troy had a business trip to Jackson Hole, Wyoming. My mother stayed with the kids while I went with Troy on his trip. Wyoming is beautiful!!! I loved it so much. After The Tour
After our tour of the Fire Station we were honored to be invited to ride on the float for the Fire Department in the Children's Gasparillo Extravaganza parade!!! It was our first parade of course, so it was pretty exciting!!! Our float was the Krewe of Saint Florian. St. Florian is the patron saint of firefighters. The float was two levels and all handmade by two local firefighters right here in Tampa. It was amazing. There were lots of people on the float with us and we

Tampa Fire Department Tour
We had the privilege of getting a special invitation to the Tampa Fire Department #1. My mother was in town so she came along to tour the fire department. We were able to get on those amazing trucks and see all of the equipment used in fire rescue. Captain Jace Kohan showed us around as well as many other crew members. Greco was a little shy at first, but the rest of the kids were really into all of the huge trucks. This fire station was really large!! The pole they slid

Introducing the Dixie Nationals - All Tournament Most Valuable Wrestler!!
Greco Roman Bouzakis received The All Tournament Most Valuable Wrestler Award this weekend at Dixie Nationals. It was presented by Olympians, Nate Carr and Sammie Henson as well as the founder and executive director of the American Crown series, Mr. Bill Gossett. I got a chance to spend some time with Mr. Carr on Saturday, sharing our story and having him pray for Greco's healing. Mr. Carr is an amazing man with a heart for Jesus. It was wonderful to meet him and hear his

We Continue To Live, Pray And Fight
Today we visited our oncologist for a much anticipated appointment. Two weeks ago we had our follow up MRI and the radiologist shared with us that the tumor is 80% smaller!! What joy was in our hearts at this miraculous news. We looked forward to seeing the oncologist to hear even more good news. So, this appointment was a big one, with big news.
Because Greco is still diagnosed with Diffuse Intrinsic Pontine Glioma, his life expectancy has not changed!!! What??? How co

Hope & A Locket
My sister Hope, sent me an amazing gift today. It is a beautiful necklace with a glass charm holder. Inside are several charms. The letter G, for Greco. A heart with little blue footprints, for my baby boy. A ribbon to represent his cancerous brain tumor. A ladybug, for the one that Greco says took away his tumor. A rainbow for the one we saw immediately after the ladybug took his tumor. The rainbow also represents that God keeps his promises. A cross that signifies God
